Where is La Punta?

La Punta de Costa Dulce is in the greater San Juan del Sur Area. We are about 20 minutes south of the town’s centre on the Carretera Costanera Pacífico in Nicaragua. Located directly within the Costa Dulce development overlooking playa Escameca Grande.
Can I pay for spa treatments in US Dollars (USD) in Nicaragua, or do I need local currency??

Yes you can pay in USD, Nicaraguan Cordobas or when you book online.
Can we book a group spa day or a custom "wellness ritual" for a retreat or bachelorette party?

Yes absolutely ! La Punta de Costa Dulce was designed for exactly this purpose hosting groups and events. We can create a custom day for your group. Including yoga space, yoga instructions, cacao ceremonies, spa treatments, food and more.
I just spent three days surfing / hiking what's the best treatment for intense muscle recovery?

Did you just totally score and now you are surfed out? Hike a Volcano recently? We can help those muscles relax. We have a variety of massages, relaxing, deep tissue, four-handed. And of course hot and cold. Sauna and cold plunge is great for relaxing over used muscles.
Should I book my spa treatment for the morning or the afternoon during a tropical vacation?

Early morning is ideal for a detox/energy boost like a morning sauna/cold plunge while late afternoon is perfect to unwind after a day of adventure.
Do I need to book my spa treatments in advance, or can I walk in ?

Can I visit the spa if I am not staying overnight at the property?

Yes you can visit the spa if you are not a guest. Just book a day package or if you live around here you should really check out our memberships.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy??

We require 24 hours notice for a cancelation or a rescheduling. Gracias.
Can I get a body scrub or facial if I have a sunburn?

Yes. We have some great body scrubs/facials, something soothing like our aloe vera and cucumber mask or a raw chocolate full body mask and facial .
What are traditional Nicaraguan ingredients used in spa treatments, and what do they do?

We naturally look to local culture and ingredients for treatments. Antioxidant and energizing benefits of local organic cacao, Nicaraguan coffee, and native coconut oils are used in body scrubs and face masks.
